Terrific illustrations, maps and photographs, a number are in color (the portraiture and landscape paintings) with pictures of the major players. The story is pretty well known of the months the crew spent in Tahiti, the bad treatment of the sailors by Capt. Bligh and the mutiny led by Fletcher Christian, Blighs navigation of the boat into which he and his faithful crew members were stranded, and the end result of the whole court-marshall. It's a great story and an excellent gift for a nautically-inclined friend or relative!
