It is in great shape inside with hundreds of sketches, drawings, and paintings made by artists at the front. The quality of the photography is remarkable for the state of photographic technique at that time and the remarkable, historic photographs are the work of the official photographers accompanying each army. They give a detailed picture of what World War I - the war to end all wars - was like for the officers and men and women of the time.
